Eastern Long Island Spring Wedding at RGNY Vineyards
If you have ever driven down Sound Avenue on Eastern Long Island; chances are you have come across the beautiful RGNY Vineyards. Nestled in the heart of North Fork wine country, RGNY Vineyards offers a laid-back yet luxurious setting for couples looking to say “I do” among the vines. With its sprawling green land and rustic buildings are quite eye catching it is no wonder it’s one of the top wedding venues on Eastern Long Island.
When Lauren from Lauren Zizza Events came to me with ideas for Sarah and Andrew’s wedding I was so excited to see that they had chosen RGNY as their venue.
Sarah and Andrew’s wedding took place on a perfect spring time day in May. The weather was 10/10 for their outdoor celebration! Working with Lauren and Sarah on this design was a dream - the vision was so creative and inspiring. From the bright florals being specifically curated by Hometown Flower Co. and the fun table scape design I knew the day of details were going to be the icing on top!
Together we designed a wine themed inspired seating chart, custom menus for each guest, and watercolor table numbers.
Wine Bottle Seating Chart
Sarah and Andrew chose a wine bottle seating chart, blending functionality with a vineyard-inspired design moment. Each bottle had a handwritten sticker with guests’ names and table numbers, which was then displayed on a beautiful farmhouse table with a simple - yet impactful - single stem was placed in each bottle.
Custom Menus for Each Guest
One of the standout design moments was the personalized menus we created for each place setting. Each guest received a custom-printed menu featuring their name hand painted at the top —doubling as a place card. The menus were styled to match the green table top linens and complimented the vibrant floral palette, tying each table together with color and intention.
Watercolor Table Numbers
To pull everything together, we created hand-painted watercolor table numbers using the same watercolor green from the menus. The numbers were hand lettered in calligraphy and placed into w wine cork holder to once again tie in the wine inspired theme.
Overall, this wedding was filled with intentional design and details. From the ceremony to cocktail hour, to the packed dance floor at the reception - Sarah and Andrew’s day looked absolutely perfect!
